We manufacture power-off, spring-set fail-safe brakes that engage automatically on power loss — ideal for safety and holding duty — as well as power-on multi-disc and wet-running brakes for controlled, repeatable stopping. What is a fail-safe electromagnetic brake?

A fail-safe (power-off) brake is held open by its energised coil and is applied by springs the moment power is removed. This means the machine is braked and held automatically during a power failure or emergency stop — the standard choice for safety and holding applications.

Our electromagnetic brakes cover roughly 2–1500 Nm. Torque, voltage and mounting are built to your specification.
